Well, folks, I have got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that this little beauty, the Maruti Suzuki Concept R3, will soon be unveiled at the 2010 Auto Expo in New Delhi, India, the product of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., which is the leading car manufacturer in India.
The bad news? Well, we might not be able to see it anywhere else, which is really kind of a shame. One can only hope that Suzuki will come up with a similar concept or will bring the car into product stateside and in Europe.
The point of this car is to fulfill any needs a family might have, but by keeping it compact, not bulky and large, as some other family vehicles.

Introducing the Suzuki Alto Concept! Or, rather, it will be introduced when the motor show in Tokyo takes place at a later point this month. It will celebrate the Alto nameplate’s thirtieth anniversary.
The concept recently made its most recent debut back during the motor show in Paris. It is designed to show the future of mini vehicles, and specializes in being user friendly and having a high level of economy.
The design does not differ a whole lot from the European version currently in production, although Suzuki itself assures that this version is totally different.
It is designed to provide a high degree of comfort for the driver and passengers, and it comes with plenty of features specifically made for convenience.

Just a short time ago, the VW chairman Ferdinand Piech was very interested in procuring a very small stake in Suzuki. While those rumors were denied by Suzuki, the rumors are once against surfacing again and the German magazine Manager Magazin, is actually the one that seems to have the inside scoop. It looks like Suzuki is actually thinking about going with a joint venture on a few models with VW, which is something I am very excited about.
The main reasons for the joint is because Suzuki is very fond of producing compact cars and as we all know, Volkswagen is the leader for small cars, with them remaking the VW Bug, so to me? This is a partnership made in heaven! Of course, there have been a lot of talks and conversations between the two automakers, nothing is finalized just yet.
However, the VW did go into a partnership with Porsche, so that could definitely secure them a spot for a partnership with Suzuki as well!
