2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon

If you are looking and have been pining for the brand new 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon – well, it is actually tradition for a lot of the automakers to actually auction off the very first model of a car and that is what is happening to this car, in Palm Beach in April.  The winner of this car?  Well, they will be the first ones to get it in the world!

It actually includes everything that you see here and it is actually a pretty nice car – however, you will be paying for it.  The 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon is made completely of carbon fiber and I can tell you for sure that this car is going to go for quite a bit of money.  The first corvette ZR1 went for actually over a million dollars.

So personally, I think that the 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon will top out at around two million!

2010 Chevy Spark: It’s On For The US!

2010 Chevy Spark

When it comes to the 2010 Chevy Spark, it has been a battle between on and off for this particular car being released in the states.  Well, I can tell you that right now – the 2010 Chevy Spark is actually on to be released in the United States and while that might not stick – right now, I am proud to say that the 2010 Chevy Spark will be released in the states.

This mini-car is can go up to about 47 MPG, which for me – is fantastic!  It has a 1.0-liter, four-cylinder engine and can get about 78HP.  This particular car is also extremely small and almost looks European – which for me is awesome.  I think that anything that looks European is incredible and all around cool!

While the 2010 Chevy Spark is not going to be built in the US, it is certainly going to be shipped and sold here – as of right now at least.

Great news from General Motors! They’ve decided to actually produce the Chevrolet Spark and I think it’s a great decision. A fresh-looking, young, new green car — that’s what GM has to do to get out of the slump in my opinioon!

When buying a new car, you can get rid of your old one with for the poor.

Fritz Henderson, GM’s COO, foresees the future of the car manufacturer relying on four car brands: Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, and Buick. The statement was done after a strategic review of the Hummer and Saab brands.

He further discloses that Pontiac will experience significant production cuts while the Saturn line will have a different loom. GM is also collaborating with the Swedish government to help the Saab brand. Around 75% of the Saab sales is in Europe so the plan will not be a US approach.

The company will push with its plans of heavily investing on the Buick brand in China. This move will have a positive effect on the brand in the United States.

The four core brands of the auto maker comprise 83% of its sales in the United States in 2008.

The plan of the GM group revolves around the price of oil being around $130-$160 per barrel. The company forecasts oil prices to be at the level of $53 per barrel in 2009. The low oil price will be a big challenge for their plug-in vehicle, the Chevrolet Volt.
