When I think about an Audi, I think of something that is both reliable and edgy. You sort of expect it to be boring, but it never really is. I don’t know, maybe I’m weird, but somehow Audis are linked to Birkenstocks in my mind’s eye.
However, the Audi A5 Sportback creates no such connections. In my own personal opinion, this is definitely a winner. Part of the A5 range — naturally — it was recently, officially unveiled, proving that it totally blurred all the lines between a coupe, a conventional wagon, and a sedan. Its this magical mix that refuses to conform with convention.
Parts of the design were created to honor the 1969 100 Coupe S.
